The cell captive mechanism is one of the options for the provision of microinsurance in South Africa. Cenfri, on behalf of the FinMark Trust, hereby invites proposals for a review of the cell captive mechanism in South Africa and its role in the development of the microinsurance market. The study will take stock of the current instances of cell captive insurance, its application to the microinsurance market, the opportunities and challenges faced. Request for proposals for research grants:    Anti-money laundering and combating financing of terrorism: the impact of regulation and corporate compliance on financial inclusion (Applications closed)

Cenfri invites applications for research grants. The grans are intended to support research projects that fall within Cenfri's research program managed on behalf of the FinMark Trust and will result in publications, preferably in peer-reviewed journals. The main objectives of the grant schem is to stimulate research within the fields of Cenfri's research program and to build research linkages between Cenfri and other researchers and research organizations, in particular Higher Education institutions, with a view to undertaking larger joint research projcets in future.
